About The Healing Hubs
The Healing Hubs Charity provides telephone befriending calls for people of all ages.
We focus on providing a professional friendship through difficult times, preventing crises, and promoting well-being.
Our befriending calls last approximately 30 minutes, and we call once a week. The service is free.
We accept Social Prescriber Referrals. We accept family and friend referrals and self-referrals.

Our befrienders use a ‘coaching model’ of support, which is encouraging and empowering; they champion you as a person.

Age- 18-65+ years no exclusions.

Information for Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer with us we would love to hear from you!
We have a safe recruitment policy and you will be required to have an interview, share references, have a DBS check, under- go training.
You will need to have the right values. Be caring, kind and compassionate. Have a real desire to support people who are feeling lonely and or isolated.
