Voluntary Action Surrey East offers companionship to elderly, socially isolated and lonely members of the Tandridge community. Our volunteers spend at least 1hr per week with their companion, offering conversation, cups of tea/coffee, walks, and most importantly of all, company.

Information for Volunteers
Please fill in the relevant volunteer application online found on our website. We expect our volunteers to be able to commit to 1hr per week minimum and we are looking for people who are good listeners, empathetic and wanting to engage with elderly residents of our community. The use of a car is beneficial due to some areas in Tandridge being quite rural, but it is not a requirement.
