Volunteer Centre Greenwich
Supported Volunteering Project and Emotional and Well Being Project
About Volunteer Centre Greenwich
The Emotional Support and Wellbeing Project provides support to the residents of Greenwich who are lonely or isolated. It has been a lifeline to many residents and continues to be so. We provide telephone befriending, face to face meetings, walk and talk, coffee and chat meet ups and support to access activities. Skilled trained volunteers provide telephone support to those in need of friendship, reassurance and connection during this situation. All volunteers are trained to not only offer a friendly ear but also to identify additional services required and to signpost and refer individuals to other organisations.
