Age UK Quality Award Application

Age UK and Age Cymru Partners with Charity Quality Standard (CQS) certification can take advantage of our Quality Award passport, offering a lighter assessment and a reduced assessment fee.

CQS certification demonstrates compliance with a range of Quality Award indicators. Age UK Partners holding current CQS certification therefore benefit from a reduction in the number of required indicators and must provide evidence for only 46 of the total 60 indicators to obtain Quality Award status.

We give our permission for Age UK to confirm the outcome of our CQS assessment and period of its validity with Befriending Networks

We give our permission for Age UK to inform Befriending Networks of any change to our CQS certification status during the lifetime of our Quality in Befriending certification

We acknowledge that we are responsible for ensuring that we fully demonstrate any ‘partial passport’ and non passported areas during our Quality in Befriending assessment

We acknowledge that we are responsible for paying the Quality in Befriending assessment fee

We agree that Befriending Networks can share our Quality in Befriending assessment report and outcomes with Age UK

We agree that Age UK can share with Befriending Networks any further information which it holds about our organisation which Befriending Networks reasonably requires in order to decide whether or not to award Quality in Befriending certification to our project (this could include copies of assessment reports held by Age UK evidencing whether or not our organisation meets the Age UK Charity Quality Standard)
