Thank you Diane Claridge, our Development Officer!
10th January 2022
THANK YOU Diane!
“After working for 18 years in the voluntary sector, the last 5 with Befriending Networks, I have decided to take retirement at the end of March 2022. I have loved every minute of the past five years, seen a lot of changes in the sector and met some incredible people. It has been a real privilege to be part of the national focus on tackling loneliness and social isolation and something which will always be close to my heart. I am looking forward to spending more time with friends and family, looking after grandchildren, and hopefully some travelling when things are a little safer!” Diane Claridge, Development Officer.
“Diane has been the inspirational driving force developing our services to members across England. She leaves the service with secure funding for the next 4 years and over 230 members – a fantastic legacy! We will miss her from our wee team but wish her the happiest of retirement, when the time comes.” Sarah Van Putten, Chief Executive
