Wimbledon Guild achieves Quality in Befriending Excellence Award

We’re delighted to announce that Wimbledon Guild have been awarded a Quality in Befriending Excellence Award!
Wimbledon Guild is a charity established in 1907 whose befriending service supports older people in Merton to live full, active and healthy lives.
This is the first time that Wimbledon Guild has undertaken the Quality in Befriending Award and the standard of the evidence submitted was incredibly high. Their assessment highlighted several areas of good practice at Wimbledon Guild’s befriending service, including their culture of learning and improvement, and clear policies and procedures for service users and volunteers.
