Bristol-based Womankind was founded in 1986 and offers a variety of support to women including therapy, counselling and helplines as well as their Befriending Services. They run three different befriending projects; Sexual Violence Service, South Gloucestershire Service, Sovereign Housing Service. Their Quality in Befriending assessment demonstrated the dedication of their small staff team, who are totally committed to providing a friendly, approachable good quality service.
