Befriender Training Toolkit: How To

Free

“The quality of your webinars and toolkits has helped us improve practice and boost confidence.” (Member, 2025)

Purpose of the event

Join the designer of the Befriender Training Toolkit for a 30-minute session to learn how this member-exclusive resource can assist your befriender training. Our Toolkit has been created with the concept of “we provide the tools, you build the befrienders”. With over forty resources available, there is something in the toolkit for every project. From PowerPoints, videos, training handouts, interactive games, podcasts, and more, we are here to support our members in creating a comprehensive training programme for their befrienders, whether for induction, additional, or refresher training. This event is open to all – members of our network or those curious about membership benefits.

This event covers:

• How to register and access the Befriender Training Resource
• Which items are included and why
• How to edit resources to suit your project
• Good Practice in Befriender Training
• An opportunity to ask questions and learn from others.
