Dumfries & Galloway Befriending Project get reaccredited with Excellence Award

We’re delighted to announce that the Dumfries & Galloway Befriending Project have been reaccredited with the Quality in Befriending Excellence Award.

Dumfries and Galloway Befriending Project supports young people aged 8-18 in Dumfries and Galloway who are facing challenges at home, school or in the community. Matches meet once a week or fortnight to try out new activities, build their confidence, and help improve their overall health and wellbeing. The assessment show a service that is well regarded and valued by the staff, volunteers, the young people and their families.

Congratulations to the longstanding community of staff and volunteers, whose passion and commitment for supporting young people helped them achieve this reaccreditation!
