About the organisation

CACE (Cumbernauld Action for Care of the Elderly) CACE is a well-established charity with over 30 years of service to the communities of Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Villages, and the Northern Corridor.
Our services include Day Support, Activity Groups, Outings and Events, Befriending, and Volunteering opportunities.

We operate a door-to-door community transport service, which assists individuals attending our services, accessing community events, and participating in partnership activities such as local walking groups. Our Day Support programme, offered three days a week at our Cumbernauld and Chryston locations, provides activities and two course hot meals.

We also host weekly outings, run five activity groups throughout the week, and hold a monthly cinema event. We now offer ‘Carer Breather’ sessions for older people monthly on a Saturday, providing weekend respite for their carers.
