Kincardine and Deeside Befriending reaccredited with Quality Award

We’re delighted to announce our most recent reaccreditation for the Quality Award, Kincardine and Deeside Befriending!
Kincardine and Deeside Befriending are a small befriending charity based in North East Scotland. Their overall aim as an organisation is to support socially isolated people aged over 55 to improve and maintain their mental and physical health. Kincardine and Deeside Befriending have been members of Befriending Networks since 2019, and this is the third time they have been through the award process. They are active members, regularly contributing to and taking part in events and activities.
Their assessment highlighted some fantastic developments to their service, including a new Service Capacity Guidance Procedure, which will help support staff wellbeing and allow their team continue delivering excellent work. The policies, procedures and supporting documents submitted were of a very high standard; they were clear, accessible, and thoughtfully developed.
