LEAP achieve Excellence Award reaccreditation

Congratulations to the team at LEAP Project for achieving their Quality in Befriending Excellence Award reaccreditation.
LEAP has been operating since 1992, and its befriending services have been running since 2001. The organisation provides face-to-face, group and telephone befriending support for older people in the Cambuslang area. Support is provided through home visits, community-based groups and telephone befriending.
Their assessment showed a service with a strong framework in place, demonstrated by clear and up to date policies and procedures; as well as conscientious, person-centred practice.
