It is great to network and gain insights into the befriending community in a relaxed setting with the support of a very competent and approachable trainer – Attendee 2024.

Purpose of course

Join us online for an interactive discussion and tutorial on how we can best support the mental wellbeing of our service users, befrienders, and staff within our befriending projects. This will be an opportunity for networking, sharing of good practice and problem-solving. You are very welcome to submit specific issues you are facing within your project to the discussion.

Communicating Openly on Mental Wellbeing
Safeguarding and Signposting, Safely and Securely
Shared Experience and Networking

Resources and Additional Support

All attendees will access an online delegate pack of resources, training tools, video tutorials, and guidance post-event that can support continued development, can be shared with colleagues and help to create a supportive working environment for all. Due to the range of materials covered during the session and within the delegate pack, a free follow-up session of one hour is offered to all attendees. This is to allow an opportunity to continue the discussion and address any questions directly.

Cancellation Policy

Please check your diary before committing to any dates. We understand that your circumstances may require a change of training dates. If you need to cancel or defer your order:

Up to 48 hours before the course begins: your order will be refunded, subject to a £15 administration fee. Alternatively, you can defer your order to the next occurrence of the same course.
Within 48 hours of the course beginning, including non-attendance: your order is non-refundable and cannot be deferred.

Please note that all courses operate with a minimum number of delegates. If this number is not obtained, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event date. Your event facilitator will contact you to discuss options. In such cases where we cannot fulfil your order, a full refund will be given. You can contact the facilitator of your event, or victoria@befriending.co.uk to discuss your booking.
