Volunteer Glasgow reaccredited with Quality in Befriending Excellence Award

We’re delighted to announce that Volunteer Glasgow have achieved their reaccreditation as an Excellence Award holder!
Volunteer Glasgow’s Young Persons Befriending Service (YPBS) provides community-based support to 8-18 year olds living in Glasgow, who are dealing with difficult circumstances. The Service creates positive relationships and human connections, which enable access to local activities and events, build resilience and independence and promote mental wellbeing in young people.
Their Quality Award assessment showed a service that clearly means a lot to all involved – staff, volunteers and young people. Volunteer Glasgow demonstrated a thoughtful and thorough practice, with the young people consistently at the heart of the service.
